{"id"=>258758613, "created"=>"2024-07-20 11:30:30", "last_updated"=>"2024-08-07 04:49:07", "time_posted"=>"2 weeks ago", "title"=>"Software Engineer", "description"=>"Software Engineer(C#) - Hedge Fund - NYC - Up to $250k TC\n\n\nBoutique Fixed Income Hedge Fund is looking to build out its NYC office with an additional engineering hire that will be working as part of a small team to build a greenfield Middle Office Platform, using a combination of propitiatory technology and off the shelf products.\n\n\nThe role will be working directly with senior stakeholders in the firm as well as a number of engineers in other offices to help design and build robust, scalable middle office systems covering, the full trade lifecycle, OMS and PMS. \n\n\nThis role is perfect for a self-starter, interested in working for a very prestigious fund with experienced technologists, where they will be able to see the impact of the work they are doing from day 1.\n\n\nThe Tech stack for this role is C#/Python.\n\n\nRole:\n• Work in a small collaborative team to build a range of proprietary Middle Offices systems.\n• Liaise with senior stakeholders and other tech teams in other offices to architect and design these systems for scalability and reliability. \n• Work both individually and as part of a team to onboard and customize off the shelf products catering to the firms needs.\n• Ensure best practices with modern DevOps principles \n\nRequirements:\n• BSc in CompSci or similar STEM subjects\n• Previous experience working on or building middle office systems for a bank or fund.\n• Excellent C# skills, ideally with some working knowledge of Python in production. \n• Previous experience with Middle Office Solutions such as Coremont, Orchestrade or FlexTrade.\n• Knowledge of Fixed Income and FX products \n• Ideally some knowledge of Security Master and Regulatory Reporting\n\n\nFor more information, please get in touch at [email protected].
