Parametric provides a mature workplace for software professionals. Custom software is a key element of Parametric's success and as such we consider software development a tier one competency.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\n• Utilize programming and quantitative skills to create efficiencies for traders, analysts and portfolio managers with the primary goal of improving systems.\n• Work closely with investment professionals and other team members to understand and document requirements in order to provide solutions to complex business problems.\n• Work towards a long-term goal of specializing in development areas, including but not limited to: front-end interfaces, data analytics, back-end design, and data architecture.\n\n\nJob Requirements\n\n– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science strongly preferred\n\n– 2+ Years of hands-on .Net software design and development experience\n\n– Experience with web-based UI development, e.g., Angular, React, or similar preferred\n\nRequired\n\n– Experience with SQL server required\n\n– Experience with cloud native development, preferably on AWS is plus\n\n– Excellent communication and ability to collaborate well with both technical and non-technical users\n\n– Strong math orientation and numerical aptitude\n\n– Interest in combining technical skills with Finance and business level understanding\n\n– Understanding of financial markets and familiarity with fixed income is a plus\n\nParametric believes each member of our organization makes a significant contribution to our success. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
